Yes, You Can Wear Leopard Print to the Office

If you haven’t figured it out lately, I’m really stepping up my workwear game. Maybe it’s my little office crush (no big deal guys), maybe it’s me finally feeling like myself again and feeling comfortable in my own skin, maybe it’s me adjusting to my ‘real world’ life, or maybe it’s a mix of everything.

I already talked a little about finding my personal style at work, which meant a lot of stepping a bit out of my comfort zone. Even though I could wear the same two pairs of jeans on repeat with some patterned shirt and the same black and gold belt, I wanted to get out of my little style rut.

I finally caved and bought the infamous Realisation Par Naomi skirt in the leopard print. I thought – what the heck, it’s probably not even going to look good on me anyway and I’ll return it. Spoiler alert – the skirt looks freakin’ amazing. Now, I just want it in more colors.

I decided this skirt would only be truly worth the money if I could wear it to the office, so I tried on a few different tops with it that I think are perfect for the workplace. Leopard is the new neutral and it goes with just about any season depending on how you style it.

Today, I’m styling it with a classic button down and a pair of cap-toe kitten heels, the same ones that had me hopping on board the clear heel trend. Turns out, this outfit is the perfect mix of classic workwear with right-on-trend.

This skirt makes me feel confident and beautiful. The fabric is so soft and flatters my shape so well. The pattern is fierce and loud, but just subtle enough. I love how the skirt flows and drapes which is for sure going to make it a staple in my wardrobe for just about any occassion.

So – it doesn’t have to be this skirt – but try wearing leopard to the office. I dare you.
