I can’t stop buying bikinis from these 3 places in 2020

Ever since I started working out, I’ve been obsessed with buying new swimsuits. It’s exciting when your body starts changing from the workouts and I feel it’s important to byu new clothes that make you feel good. That being said, don’t go overboard (I’m definitely guilty someones), but it’s definitely worth it to replace old clothes that don’t fit with new ones that do.

One thing I’ll note about my sizes is, because I have a more hourglass shape and I don’t like my swimwear digging in, I tend to size up in swimwear. I find that I’m usually more comfortable in larger sizes.

Strange Bikinis

The first place that I’m absolutely obsessed with is Strange Bikinis. Made in my hometown of Reno, NV, these small batch bikinis make me feel more amazing about myself than any other brand has done. They’re released in new colors each season in some signature and new styles. I unfortunately don’t have a promo code for them, but I frequently post about their sales on my Instagram stories or you can subscribe to their mailing list!

Wave Babe Swim

Of all the places I shop, I own the most bikinis from Wave Babe. These are also a small business and made right here in Arizona, just a few minutes up the street from me!

I generally go for a large in both my tops and bottoms. I would say size up if you’re between sizes as these pieces do run a bit on the smaller side. They are slightly more budget-friendly, with sale tops even on the lower side, for a small business!

VDM the Label

Regrettably, I don’t have any photos in my VDM pieces however, when it comes to brightly colored, more risqué bikinis, VDM is my go-to. I own two sets from them, one a bright turquoise and the other a pink and white floral and they are perfect for tanning!

In the side tie bottoms, I wear a M and in the fixed bottoms I wear a L. I wear a L in the tops but I get an XL when available.

To see more swimwear, I have another post you can check out here and a review of my Triangl set here!

Hi - my name is Kirsten! I am currently based in Chicago after a long cross-country move from Arizona. What will you find here?
