I don’t really like wearing a lot of makeup. There, I said it. Sometimes, it feels like I’m the only blogger who isn’t obsessed with makeup. I mean, I really enjoy skincare and keeping a fresh face which may be why I don’t actually love makeup. However, I’m not opposed to things that enhance your natural beauty.

I also want to emphasize, I don’t dislike people who wear a lot of makeup and I certainly don’t look down on people that do. I’m just not that good at applying it (especially eyeshadow) so I tend to prefer a simple look on my face with dramatic lipstick if I’m really going for a look. Although, I’ve been trying out more looks as I seem to keep obtaining new palettes, so I’ll keep ya posted on how those go.

What I bought:

Balm Dotcom: I purchased the Balm Dotcom trio with the Mint, Coconut, and Birthday flavors. While a lot of reviews knocked the product ingredients and said that it was overpriced, I actually loved this product. I have extremely dry skin, especially in my Tucson desert climate, so this product delivered exactly where I wanted it to.

I applied it before bed on my lips and on a few dry patches on my arms and both felt so much better in the morning. While I’m sure there are cheaper products out there that do the same thing, this cute little tube is perfect to carry around in my purse for use on the go.

If you have really chapped lips, this is perfect to use right out of the shower to lock the moisture in!

My rating: 5/5

Stretch Concealer: This product is great and works well for what I wanted it for, but I knocked off a point for the lack of color selection. There are only 5 shades, so I could see it as an issue if you’re trying to find the correct shade. I bought the “Dark” shade, which is the middle of their 5-shade range. I got this as part of the Phase 2 set.

My rating: 4/5

Boy Brow: Another great product, but I docked a point for it being almost the same as another product I already own. It does make your brows look good, so if you don’t already have a similar product, I highly recommend it. I got this as part of the Phase 2 set.

My rating: 4/5

Generation G: Not my favorite product in the bunch. The color payoff was not what I expected, but maybe that was just the color I ordered. I got the Leo color, but I still use it when I just want to put something on my lips. I may give it one more shot, since I like the forumla, in the colors Zip or Jam. I got this as part of the Phase 2 set.

My rating: 3/5

Lip Gloss: This is the perfect clear lip gloss! It feels super moisturizing and looks great either by itself or on top of any shade. I’d been looking for a new gloss and this was perfect.

My rating: 5/5

Cloud Paint: From everything I got, this was one of my favorites. I tend to prefer cream highlighter to powder, so I figured I would like cream blush too. I was correct in my assumption. I got the Haze color and I would say it’s a “must-have” for those of us with tan olive skin.

My rating: 5/5

What’s in my cart:

Milk Jelly Cleanser: I have a friend who swears by this in her nightly routine, so it may be time to give it a try.

The Super Pack: They seem a little pricey, but I may give one of them a try, just not sure which one yet.

Generation G: Zip: I loved the formula, just not the color payoff, so I want to try it in a brighter, bolder color!

Priming Moisturizer Rich

Lidstar: Fawn and Cub

Cloud Paint: Dusk
